I explore paint as material artifact.  I build a painting object by pouring, splashing, cutting, and removing paint.  I layer dried chunks of latex house paint, interior color paint samples, charcoal drawings, and studio trash.  I continue the process until I am satisfied with a compelling mixture of form, color, and texture.  This series records the geography of contrived, interventional and accidental painting events.
